The fighting between the Drow and the Elves, and their human allies on both sides, had been going on for a very, very long time. Atrocities had been regularly committed by both sides. The very thought made Tolan uneasy. True, he had been a fighter and killed many opponents in fair fights in his younger days. But he had never, ever been a cruel sadist in his adventures.
