Sterling looked up at Tolan from a seated position on his cot, wiping his face with a large towel. However, in the gloom, only the Drow's red eyes could be seen until the Swordsman lighted a small lamp and ushered his guest inside.
"You may enter, Lord Tolan," said Sterling with a smile. "By the by, do you have any dogs or wolves, perchance? If you do, don't let them wake you up when you need it! It'll keep you from getting slobbered to death!"
Walking over to a chest, the Swordsman pulled out two large tankards and one dusty bottle. He poured a dark-reddish liquid into each of the tankards saying, "I have here a rare delicacy that I know you're going to love. No surface kingdom has it and its ingredients can only be found in the Underdark."
Taking a sip of the wine and handing Tolan his tankard, Sterling continued with a devilish grin, "It's Drow Cannard. It's good stuff, you should try some. After all, a man such as yourself shouldn't be afraid of a little Cannard!"
