Let's get this farce over with. "If you will be so kind as to give us the count of three to begin?" Lady Kirriam smiled at Dickory, and then added in Skull's direction, "You can count to three, can you not?"
Skull just snarled back at her angrily and dropped into a low fighting crouch. The Drow Warrior stared at Lady Kirriam with such venomous intensity that if looks could kill, she would've been halfway to Hades at that point!
Giving a low growl, Skull said, "COUNT!"
"One!" yelled Dickory.
Skull arched his back foot preparing to explode upon opponent with the speed and fury of a cheetah upon a gazelle!
"Two!" yelled Dickory.
The Drow Warrior hissed like an angry cobra as his eyes locked in on his target!
"Thr--!"
"COMPANY, ATTEN-SHUN!!!" cried the Lieutenant.
The men immediately snapped to attention all save for Lady Kirriam and Skull whose concentration was immediately broken.
"MAKE WAY FOR THE CAPTAIN!" announced the Lieutenant moving through the Drow Warriors. As the men parted ways, Sterling and Lord Tolan beheld a sight that left both men speechless--but only for a minute!
