"Kirriam's right, we should get moving," Lord Tolan said, pulling his elbow-length riding gloved back on. "I feel quite well. If your men would be so kind as to return my weapons that they confiscated when I arrived, we can get on the road to Yarfell in a few minutes."

"I take it that you ran into Silence and Quiet on you way here," said Sterling with a smile, "I'm afraid that you are going to have to ride out along the same path brought you here and have those two return your weapons to you once you arrive at their guard position. When I have my sentries posted, I usually rotate them but I do not recall them altogether--at least, not without good reason."

Reaching for the tent flap, Lord Tolan paused to look back at the Captain, an expression of frank honesty mingling with amusement on his face. "As for Kirriam, make no mistake, Captain, I love my sister dearly. I just know to get out of her way when she goes on a rampage. 'Spitfire' does not even begin to describe her. And you say you have more than one sister, and they're all like her?" A truly humored smile proved that his last statement was meant entirely as a joke: "My condolences!"

Following the High Councilor of Yarfell out of the tent, Sterling laughed heartily at Lord Tolan's joke and said, "Thank you, Lord Tolan, your condolences are greatly appreciated. Ah! I see your escort and means of transportation have arrived."

Before the two men sat the Lieutenant on horseback with five other Drow Warriors as well. The reins of Lord Tolan's horse was in the Lieutenant's hands, however Lady Kirriam was nowhere in sight.

"I wonder where your sister is, Lord Tolan." said the Swordsman somewhat quizzically.

    A Point To Ponder
