It took very little time at all for the Lieutenant to find Kirriam's dress, shoes, and jewelry, just as she had left it, folded neatly together and placed beside the trunk of women's clothing that Kirriam had been relieved to hear were merely 'winnings' rather than gained through more sinister means.
Hiding herself in the other tent, Kirriam disposed of the revealing clothing she had been wearing and donned her courtly gown. Arranging her hair as best she could, she felt much better about her situation. She felt much more in control, much more like a lady when she wasn't running around half-naked and goading the Drow into a fight.
"There, now, this is much better," she sighed in relief, returning to the Captain's tent and handing back the folded travelling cloak. Tolan seemed to breathe a little easier when he saw that his sister was finally clad in something that wouldn't get her arrested for public indecency.
"Do we have to include that boor Skull in our escort?" she asked Sterling sweetly, all bubbling over with coy innocence. "I have a feeling he dislikes me very much. And if he doesn't now," here her grin turned startlingly wicked, "he will by the time I'm done with him!"
