“Macula!? Kryschenn, I think you miss understood me. True, there were more of us in Macula, emphasis on were and in Macula. Everyone else in the group found there, to the best of my knowledge, is now in the catacombs or probably waiting outside in the nearby clearing,” Cole corrected her. He then stopped walking having realized they have been heading for Macula without ever telling the others first.
“Um… the clearing’s back that way,” he said to Kryschenn while pointing to the mountains. “It shouldn’t take us that long to get over there. In fact, we can probably it to Macula faster if we borrowed a couple of the horses we used to ride over here than we could on foot. No point in us tiring ourselves out any further by walking all the way over there when we can just hop a ‘rent-a-nag’ or two.” He then began walking back in the direction where the horses would be found along with those left at the clearing. “I’m sure Matt wouldn’t mind sharing a ride back with Sunny,” he joked. “So you see, there isn’t really a need to use the Stone to contact them telepathically when we can just walk a little ways back and tell them in person. Besides, you never did meet Uni or the others, did you?” he smiled, confident in that he once again dodged a question relating to the use of his weapon.
