Shifting his body under the weight of the armour he now wore he gripped his wooden sword tightly. Good fit or no, he wasn't used to wearing any more then heavy winter clothing. But thankfully it wasn't terribly heavy, and it was nicely distributed over his body. Still it weighed him down somewhat and he was used to relying on his steady footing and natural agility.
Stepping forward, Spud did his best, first to perform the stab. It was clumsy and the still felt hampering, but the hand-eye coordination was there.
The slice seemed more natural and looked a little better then the stab. For a first time really swinging a sword as one should swing a sword, it wasn't all that bad.
