"HYAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Kryschenn shouted at her pursuer as they hit the forest floor, brandishing her dagger mere inches from his face. Her victim was lucky that she was not in the grip of 'berserker mode' so much as just showin really bad judgement in attacking someone who might have easily passed her by. He was also lucky in that she'd held the Sgian Dubh well out to the side as she'd attacked; she hadn't brought it in close to stab him because it would have then been far to easy to accidentally stab herself in the fall from the horse that she knew would be the result of her leap.

Her victim turned out to be even luckier when her fierce battle cry trailed off into a surprised, "...huh?" Lowering the dagger, she looked completely surprised to realize that her pursuer was not a guard or a forest patrol after all. "You again?" she asked Cole incredulously, then looked at her dagger sheepishly. This was apparently the third time she'd attacked him in less than two days. "I'm bound and determined to kill you, aren't I?"

Sitting up, she apologized hastily, "I thought you were a soldier or something. I wasn't expecting you to come after me, especially not after the way I tricked you over that leather bandage strap thingy. And I certainly wasn't expecting you to be chasing me on a horse," she added, gesturing to the steed that Cole had been riding. The animal appeared to be a bit unnerved by what had just happened, but at least it hadn't been so startled that it ran off. "Where did you get that horse, anyway? Huh? Oh, you want me to get off your stomach? Sorry!"

Standing quickly, she sheathed her Sgian Dubh in her boot and offered her hands to help him up. "You okay? It kinda looks like I flattened you. Can you move? Here, let me help... no tricks this time, I promise," she said quite seriously. She felt she'd caused enough trouble for one lifetime already. "I know I've been nothing but a pain to everyone. Look, we're almost to Macula. I wish you hadn't followed me. I'm just going to turn myself in and get it over with. Maybe they'll go easier on the rest of you 'Outworlders' once I surrender. But there's no need for both of us to be caught. Maybe it would be better if you went back and met up with everyone you said was waiting at the clearing."
