War Scribe did not know how much time had passed between when she died and when she came back to life, but she did know two things: One, she was in a lot of pain and two, she had a terrible hunger to be reunited with her book!Awaking draped over the back of Ral's steed, the Dark Elf Chronicler gave an ear-piercing scream of pain and triumph! Ral, who was walking alongside the animal, did his best to keep his horse under control as the beast reared back in surprise and dumped War Scribe on the ground with a solid thud!
As Ral continued to calm his horse down, the Drow Chronicler avoided being trampled by the scared steed and stumbled to her feet.
"War Scribe? You're alive!?! What the hell is going on here!?!" asked Dawn in total exasperation as she sat on the back of her slightly disturbed horse.
With her hair completely disheveled and a wide-eyed look of disbelief on her face, the Drow Chronicler rambled absently, "I'll be back! I've got to find my other half and my book! She's got my book! I've got to have my book! You understand don't you, Dawn! Don't you!?!"
The Ex-Gladiator said, "Sure, yeah, I understand you! No problem! You've got to get your book, but don't you want to talk about it, first!"
"NO!!!" shrieked War Scribe incessantly, "I've got to have my book! My book is my life! My book is my work!" Shutting her eyes tightly, the Drow Chronicler muttered, "CONCENTRATE! CONCENTRATE! CONCENTRATE! CONCENTRATE!"
And with that she blinked out of existence from Ral and Dawn's view, leaving them to scratch their heads in disbelief at their friend's resurrection and sudden disappearance.
However, the Drow Chronicler reappeared in the Wizard Echlar's chamber right next to her tome and Zakiyah who was lying down on a cot. Immediately seizing her tome and clutching it to her chest, War Scribe gave another ear-piercing scream of triumph as she began to feel whole once again!
