"...if you don't mind my asking, what do these words mean, 'Amurabbit em Batterla duc Protescula'?" asked Marakah."Literally translated from the old language, it means 'Protect thyne family, Amurabbit'. I really don't have time to go into the specifics of my ancestery, but the words are part of a protection spell cast by the Old Ones in times of battle. I believe the words go something like, 'Protect thyne family, Amurabbit, in battle and war and guide our souls to the Great Glen.' Or so I'm told," Psilo explained. "My people are peaceful and we protect those who would be harmed. The last war in our lands was thousands of years ago. This peice of cloth has been in my family for generations since that war. I figured that if I am to play a part in the upcoming battle with Venger's army, I might as well do it formally."
Marakah listened to all this like a wide-eyed child hearing a favorite story for the first time. Everything was as expected and by the sound of it, getting better by the moment. "I see. Well, when would you need your war banner finished? I think the rumor is that Venger's army is on there way; I could have it ready in the morning."
Psilo nodded in agreement, "That would be great! I'll have some money by then. I'm not sure how much the Princess is paying our lot, but I think my share should cover your expenses. How much would you require?"
Marakah had a devious expression on her face, "Oh, we'll think of something. In the morning then..."
Psilo raised his hand as a guesture of thanks turned towards the door, the others were waiting for him outside.
