War Scribe smiled saying, "Alright, ever since you asked so nicely I think I will sit down a bit! I am feeling somewhat fatigued."

Quietly the Drow Chronicler sauntered her way over to the Wizard Echlar's comfortable chair and sat down in it, gently crossing her legs.

Looking at him for a few seconds, War Scribe said, "You know, you have the cutest dimple on your right cheek when you're all serious and determined! I bet you must've been quite a looker in your day!"

"But in answer to your first question, old man," began the Dark Elf serenly, "My dear sweet sister Zakiyah is now the ward of that Drow army that's camped outside your gates! They have a Chiurgeon--a guy named Doc--who's probably checking her out at this very moment."

Grinning from ear to ear, War Scribe added, "So if you want to follow me there after I leave here, by all means, you are more than welcome to do so! I'm sure that you would fare very well against our War Mage and Druids--who by the way are older and more powerful than you are! Not to mention the other 150 Drow Warriors that would no doubt consider your appearance to be an unwanted intrusion at best and an attack at worst!"

Folding her hands into a triangle, War Scribe continued calmly, "As to your second question, I am War Scribe, Chief Chronicler of the Realm, Current Chronicler of the Shadow Riders, and Former Chronicler of the Regulators! When Zakiyah brought her sorry tail to the Swamp of Stinkwell, I was created by the Swamp to do two things: Record the history of my old mercenary unit, the Regulators, and kill the Lorekeeper until she was DEAD! DEAD! DEAD!" Emphasized War Scribe by pounding her fist into her hands!

"Now that I've done that and gotten hired by the V-Man, Validor, to serve as the Realm's CHIEF Chronicler! I've got a job to do and at the moment you are only delaying me from making my appointed rounds!" stated War Scribe flatly.

"So, now that I've told you my life's story and now that you know where Zakiyah is, give me back her book and I will leave you in peace! If you don't, you may have quite a time explaining to Lord Irzen and your own superiors why you sought to detain me; when in truth, I've done nothing wrong!" pointed out the Chronicler calmly.
