"Why you-!" Echlar began, more than a little angry. This woman seemed to know Zakiyah, but so far made no indication whether she was friend or foe. Echlar wasn't sure if he should use deadly force or not as War Scribe tried to haul the Lorekeeper out of bed. Perhaps she was Zakiyah's friend, but the old Wizard would simply not buy that they were sisters. He decided that, at the very least, he should stall this woman until the Lorekeeper could either vouch for her, or ask for his help in getting rid of her.Echlar's eyes narrowed in concentration, and right about then the lower hem of War Scribe's clothing burst into flames.
"You evil old goat!" screeched War Scribe as her pants leg caught on fire, "Leave us alone! I'm getting my goody-goody sister out of here and there is nothing that you can do to stop me!"
Grabbing Zakiyah and hoisting the Lorekeeper over her shoulder in a fireman's carry, War Scribe and Zak immediately winked out of existence and reappeared on the same stretch of road that the Shadow Riders used when they first approached the city of Yarfell.
"Quit complaining, Zaki, I'm trying to save you from that mean, old, nasty Wizard! Now where are the rest of the guys!?! They were right here a few hours ago!" inquired the Drow Chronicler absently.
Looking off towards a distant grove of trees, War Scribe commented, "You know, teleporting two people can take a lot out of a girl! But I bet they went there! Yeah, let's try it Zak, I bet Sterling and his Shadow Riders are probably hiding out right there! You know, we Drow kind of like dark, secluded places and all that! Oh well, here we go!"
Winking out of existence again, the pair of Lorekeepers reappeared in the grove of trees! Finding the objects of her search, War Scribe dropped Zakiyah's limp form on the ground and screamed, "HELP!!! I NEED HELP!!! I NEED A HEALER HERE!!! HELP!!!"
