"Bobby, wait!" Sheila shouted, running after her brother. Time and again, they nearly outpaced the circle of golden light provided by Hank's drawn arrow as he followed them. Bobby was determined to catch Tommy; he often shouted for their comrade to stop and wait up, but the Gamer never once indicated that he heard. Following Bobby down the multitude of twists and turns in the maze, Sheila finally caught up with him as he stared angrily at something... something in a mirror just a few feet in front of him. "What... Bobby, what is that?" she asked, trying to comprehend the reflection she saw. It was a goblin or imp of some sort, dancing gaily in a too-big shirt that resembled Tommy's, while sticking out its tongue, thumbing its nose, and making all sorts of cheerfully rude gestures at those it had tricked into following it.
It retreated and faded away into the darkness of the mirror as Hank finally caught up with them. "This looks like the end of the maze," he commented, glancing further down the tunnel, "but it wasn't Tommy, was it?" he asked, not expecting an answer, though he did get a one-fingered response from something lurking in the mirror.
Sighing, raking his fingers through his hair, he admitted, "Well, bad news, but you took off so fast that I didn't have much of a chance to remember the way back." Looking at Fay and Morgana, who had followed him, he asked, "I don't suppose either of you had the chance to mark the way, did you?"
