"Well, what are we supposed to do now?" Hank wondered. "We can't just leave Tommy trapped in there, but we can't stay here forever.""Maybe we can send someone back to the palace?" Sheila suggested. "I know this looks like powerful magic, but I'm betting that Echlar could break it and get him out of there."
"That's a good thought," Hank agreed. "They're pretty mad at us right now, though, so we can't all go. We'll get arrested again." He glanced away from the black mirror and over to Sheila. "But if you were to turn invisible, and sneak through the palace to Echlar's study..."
"Tommy!" Sheila suddenly shouted, pointing down the hall a short distance.
"Where?!" The others turned quickly, straining to see where she had pointed, but there was nothing.
"Are you sure you saw-" Hank began, but he was suddenly interrupted.
"There! There he is! I saw him!" Bobby yelled. "TOMMY! Wait up!"
"Bobby, how can he have-" Hank began, but then stopped. He saw it too. A flash of something that looked remarkably like the Gamer's outfit, hurrying away from them. Confused, he looked over his shoulder at the black non-mirror. Tommy had gone in at that point, shouldn't that be were he finally emerged again? He hadn't seen anything appear from there, or anywhere in the immediate area, for that matter. Then what..? His thoughts were interrupted by another sighting.
"Hey Tommy, we're back this way!" Bobby shouted, running down the hall after the retreating figure, charging blindly ahead into the unknown, as always.
"Bobby! Wait!" Sheila shrieked, chasing after her younger brother, as always.
Hank shrugged and hoped it really was Tommy they were chasing. Drawing an arrow for light in the dark tunnels, he went running after Sheila, with no time to really consider what he was doing. As always. "Guys! Wait for me!"
