After looking down at Psilo passively for a few minutes, Gareth said, "This is your Test of Purity, Psilorabbit. The collar that you wear has severed your connection with the Wild. It can be removed once you know the answer to a simple question. The question is: 'As a Druid, do you make the magic or does the magic make you?' It is not enough that you should answer this question--you must truly KNOW it!
Folding his arms across his chest, the High Wizard continued, "Once you know the answer; the collar shall remove itself, your connection with the Wild shall be restored and you will be a better person for the experience. Now, if you will excuse me, Captain Irzen may need my input at his war council and I wish not to tarry any longer."
And with that, the High Wizard quietly walked away from Psilorabbit, leaving the young Druid to his fate.
