As Ral sat and waited, as Heidi rested and recovered; and as Spud inquired about something to eat. The three of them heard a long, shrill howl off in the not too far distance. "AaaaWWWWOOOOOooooooooooooo!!!" Soon that lone howl was followed by a cacophony of others in an eerie melancholic symphony of noise. Almost immediately a strong, overbearing stench began to flood the air around the heroes, a stench that could easily reminded one of the smell of brimstone!
