Sterling was feeling somewhat happy, the group as a whole was halfway to the second marker and had pretty much avoided trouble with the Bullywugs until Heidi sneezed and her helmet clanged shut. Looking back to the Bullywugs in the distance, the Dark Elf noticed that the creatures stopped their attack on the Erl King's marker and began looking around, apparently they had heard Heidi's sneeze as well. However, the Bullywugs were unable to draw an exact bead on the Swamp Group's location until a voice from overhead cried out, "Hey Swamp Bait, they're over here!"
The Swordsman looked up to find War Scribe sitting in a tree some distance away from them directing the Bullywugs to the Swamp Team's position.
"War Scribe!" screamed the Drow angrily, fully knowing that their cover was blown and that they would have to fight. "What the hell do you think you're doing?!"
"Restoring the balance in the interest of neutrality, Swordsman,"replied the Dark Elf Chronicler with a smirk. "I helped you, namely the forces of Good, uncover your enemy the witch Tuculcha. Now, I have helped the forces of Evil uncover you and your friends. As I see it, I am now neutral once again, owing nothing to either side! It's simple and it's fair--but more importantly--I get to watch somebody die! Good luck!" And with that, War Scribe sat down on her tree branch, opened her book, and began to record the next series of events.
As Sterling had feared the Bullywugs began to charge them and the Drow Swordsman knew that he had to act fast, "Psilo, Spud, Dawn, get Dan to the next marker and stay there until this blows over!"
Drawing forth Evenflow, the Dark Elf drew a line in the mud with the tip end of his blade saying, "Tuculcha, Thothalas, Alexia give me a firing line right here! On my mark, I want all three of you to nail them with a blinding flash attack--and Alexia, while you're at it, light up their lives a little!"
Turning to the others, the Drow said, "Ashleyien, Ral I want you two to get on the mage's left flank! Heidi, you're with me on their right! Once they've blinded the Bullywugs, we'll charge them--but only on my mark!"
Getting into position, the Dark Elf watched the oncoming onslaught of Bullywugs as they came to within twenty yards of the group!
"Steady!" mentioned the Swordsman reassuringly.
The Bullywugs closed to within fifteen yards!
"Steady!" said the Drow again.
The Bullywugs closed to within ten yards!
"NOW!!!" screamed the Dark Elf in the Drowish tongue!
