After Celeste and Anna-Moe had introduced themselves, Kimmy waved and said, "Hi! I'm Kimmy Kenderkin! Nice to meet ya!""Um, nice to meet you, too," Celeste replied, although her expression was a little doubtful.
She stepped to the side as Izzy gave her intro. "Hi... I'm Isadorra. You can call me Izzy if you want to. This is Adrick," she added, pointing to the disheveled little mouse on her shoulder, who shrank back a little when anyone looked at him. "He's still nervous cause en't none of you got daemons for him to talk to," she tries to explain. "An' he's NOT a pet, he's me and I'm him."
Celeste nodded. Apparently there was a type of symbiosis between the girl and the small shape-changing creature... How fascinating. She wondered if the girl was from some odd part of the Realm or another dimension entirely, different from both the Realm and home.
Izzy continued, "I tried to tell him you DO got daemons inside you, just like Khrys said, but he's still shy of everyone."
Celeste wondered why Khrys has said that... She'd probably been speaking metaphorically, but Izzy had taken her statement literally. Maybe she should try to give Izzy a better explanation at some point...
When Izzy asked if Celeste's crystal could show Izzy her own home, Kimmy asked, "Hey, after ya show Izzy her home, can you maybe use it to find the way out of here? Or maybe find more of the staff pieces?"
"I'm not sure I can show you your home, Izzy. I don't think my crystal can show places outside the Realm. But I should be able to find the path you took to get here." Turning towards Kimmy, she continued, "I should be able to help find both the exit and the pieces of the staff."
Then Kimmy heard it again! That sneaky soft whisper. She looked around and it didn't seem like anyone else was hearing it. She glared around the cave as the whisper sounded again.
"Okay! Allllright! Just what is up with this Macula place already??" she shouted to no one in particular.
Celeste gave Kimmy a quizzical look at this outburst. Great, not only is she a kender, but now she's shouting at the air. This could get interesting...
