Psilorabbit stares into the camp fire for a moment. "That's quite a story you've told. When the Dungeon Master told me I should beware this Venger person, I didn't think he would be so powerful. So how does this swamp witch fit in with his plans... or does she? Could she be after you all because you have tresspassed in her swamp?"Sterling replied, "Tuculcha works for Venger, she has admitted this to us herself! Her objective is to kill any adventurers that try to enter the Swamp and rescue Gareth. The reason why she is doing this is because once Gareth is freed, the mage will undo the Swamp and return it back to its natural woodland state. If Tuculcha does not stop us, Venger will punish her for failing him!"
Looking at his own staff, Psilo continues, "Do you know where the wizard Gareth is? What about the staff you are also seeking. Is it near by?"
The Dark Elf said gravely, "Gareth is located in the center of the swamp behind a Wall of Fog that reaches into the sky. The piece of the staff that we are seeking is also located with the wizard."
Psilo returns his gaze to Sterling. "What are your plans?"
"The plan is simple," answered the Drow Swordsman flatly. "We wait here until my companions wake up, get a bite to eat, and are ready to go! As I told Spud and Heidi earlier, they are completely exhausted and they need to recuperate before we can challenge the Swamp again. Ral and Dawn are going to continue to serve as lookouts, I am going to teach Heidi how to properly use a sword, and you can do whatever you like."
Continuing Sterling said, "Once our friends are ready to go, we'll head due west for about a mile or so until we reach some large black pylons. These are markers that an ally of ours--the Erl King--set up to provide us with the most direct route that we could take to reach the center of the Swamp. We'll follow those markers until they take us to the Wall of Fog, deal with anything that attacks us along the way, rescue the wizard Gareth, recover the missing staff piece, and ride a portal back to Yarfell where we can join the rest of our friends and stop Venger's army before they take the kingdom. And that's the game plan in a nutshell. So what do you think?"
