Kimmy quickly tucked both her hands behind her back and her face briefly took on a hurt expression as the cute little squirrel turned into a hissing rattlesnake."Uh, I guess he does bite," she said.
"You don't TOUCH someone else's daemon," Isadorra said, deciding that it's simply a matter of ignorance. These people really DIDN'T know what a daemon was, did they? What a strange place! "It'be be like me askin' if I can stick my thumb in your--" She stops as Adrick gives her a sharp bite on her ear again. Isadorra blushes.
Kimmy blinked. 'Petting her deamon would be like someone sticking a thumb up my... nose? That doesn't sound too nice. Guess it just must be a personal thing,' Kimmy decided and nodded in understanding.
"YEah, well, ya dun hafta worry about him biting you though- he can't touch YOU neither...." she trails off in a sudden realization. These people didn't know that Adrick couldn't touch them. That meant the rest of the world didn't know either!
"Well, that's fair," Kimmy grinned and watched as
insult forgotten, Adrick became a mouse again.
"Yeah, you can call me Izzy, I don't mind," she said after a bit. "Thas what they used to call me. My friends, I mean. Before the Gobblers got me...."
Kimmy was about to ask who the Gobblers were, as images of giant evil turkeys filled her mind, but before she could ask, Izzy told them an amazing tale! It was great!
"Adrick can be whatever he wants," she said proudly, as they walked along. "He could be a bloodhound but I don't think he'd smell that stick thingie. He's a good bat though. He can see in the dark. Want him to be a bat?"
"Aw, I was just hoping he could smell the way outta here. Like fresh air or something. Or maybe he can smell out the others.... or uh, not." Kimmy watched as Adrick crawled into Izzy's shirt and stayed there.
"Um. He'll come out in a little bit. He's just nervous, y'see." She brightened up. "Which way should we go next?" Izzy asked. "How 'bout that way?"
"That way?" Krys said and paused. Kimmy smiled and waited for someone to pick a way. As they looked down each tunnel, both looked the same. Kimmy giggled and couldn't help but say, "Now. Would you go left or... right?" in a Hoggle voice.
Suddenly Krys yelled, "There! There it is again! Do you see it?" she asked. "It's telling us to go that way."
Kimmy could've swore she saw... something. She shared a look with Izzy and then shrugging, followed after Krys. "That way it is then! Tally ho!" she called cheerfully!
