Eric studied Fairalin with a critical eye, ignoring the heat of a blush that crossed his cheeks over the thought of being in the slender Fae's arms. He didn't even want to think about what kind of ribbing he'd get from his friends over seeing him like that! "Fairalin, don't take this the wrong way or anything, but are you sure you're strong enough to carry me? I'm heavier than I look, I am wearing chain mail." He gave a quick glance to where it looked like the Umber Hulk was finishing off the gremlin-things. "I don't want you to hurt yourself or anything trying . . . "
