Blood Axe barely missed Ashleyien, as he stopped her short and said in mockingly patronizing tone of voice, "My aren't you the pretty one! It would be such a shame to splatter your pretty little brains all over your pretty little dress! Now wouldn't it?! Perhaps I'll be merciful and let you live! Would you like that my pretty, pretty?!""Let me live? Well aren't we the confident one. How do you know that it's not you who's going to need the mercy?" She raised her sword to him, "Okay, I've never actually seen you around before but that doesn't mean I can't pound you little Drow behind." She swung her sword at him and the two started to fight in earnest.
After about a minute she began to wonder how long she could keep it up, he was definitely a better fighter. She started to use her force field to protect herself. In her mind she reached for her magic. 'I have to get rid of this guy quickly and my magic might just do it.' She reached for the power and wove the strands the air power to grasp some nearby vines and tied up her opponent.
"Hey! What?!?!" the confused Drow said as the vines wrapped around him from behind.
"Never met you before so I figured you might be clueless about my magic or even if you knew I might be able to catch you off guard." She used the pommel of her sword to whack the drow on the head, rendering him unconscious.
Ash left the drow lying in the mud and ran off to find her friends. She said a silent prayer that they were all still in one piece.
