She sighs with relief as he hands back her book, clutching it to her chest like a child. "I understand," she replies to his explanation. "And I would like to hear more of your story later," she continued, making a mental note to record what he'd just told her once she had a quill. "Dungeonmaster's explanation was, as usual, rather cryptic. Something like, He is still my pupil and will serve again in a different capacity..." She smiles at him. "Apparently he was right, as usual. I am happy to accept your protection, and you needn't worry about my garb- I can change it easily enough." "Are all the Outworlders to be brought here?" she asks, hearing the familiar voices of EO, Sterling, and various Young Ones. "About Sterling- he may look drow, but he is not, and I owe him my life. Please see that he is not mistreated." Things were under control again....Tolan was treating her with the deference she was used to, and she found herself slipping back into her comfortable role as An Important Person once again. She steps with dignity into Bubbles' cell, finding the cambion dozing uncomfortably, still in her outlandish garb. She shook Bubbles very gently, quietly requesting her quill.
"Tommy is alive, Bubbles," she added, once she saw Bubbles was awake. "I haven't any idea how me managed it, but he's alive, and he's here, and he's safe."
