Bearing witness to all that had transpired between Ashleyien and Deathsinger, Blood Axe waited until Stormbringer had regained her feet before he decided to move onward. Carrying the limp form of Alexia over his shoulder, the Dark Elf walked over to the unconscious Warrioress. Slipping his foot underneath Ashleyien, Blood Axe turned her over until she was lying face up. Noticing that she was still breathing, the Drow gave a grunt of disgust and walked over to where Deathsinger landed after the whirlwind had dissipated. The magical wind had taken her completely off guard; and while the wind hadn't thrown her far, it nonetheless had thrown her hard into the ground.
"Are you alright?" asked Blood Axe absently without any ounce of care in his voice.
Getting on all fours and hanging her head low, Deathsinger said between labored breaths, "I'll be alright as soon as the Realm stops spinning! BWAAAAH!!!" Vomiting up her meal of Bullywug stew, the Drow narrowly missed hitting Blood Axe's boots. Jumping back in disgust, the Dark Elf gave his comrade plenty of room to regurgitate.
Looking away from Deathsinger and back the way he came, the Drow cried out, "Stormbringer, get your butt up here! Kinslayer will want us to report to him the moment he's through with his kill!"
"BITE ME!!!" snapped Stormbringer, leaning heavily upon her staff for support as she limped up to Blood Axe. No matter what she did to try and make it behave, her hair still stood on end from the electrical shock she had received,
"You've never been electrocuted, drider bait! So back off or I'll--"
"You'll what!" dared Blood Axe arrogantly.
"Silence children!" came the voice of another female form who walked into the clearing. It was Skullsplitter and she was sporting a wicked smile upon her face inspite of her tough battle against Ral. "Listen, our leader approaches!"
They all heard a scream of anger and rage off in the distance.
"Yeah, and it sounds like he's mad, REALLY mad!" announced Blood Axe more than a little worried by the sound of Kinslayer's displeasure.
"Brilliant observation, junior," replied Sorrowspinner sarcastically as she walked up to her compatriots. The Dark Elf had just concluded her battle with the ex-gladiator, Dawn. "While you're at it, you might as well give us a weather forecast!" This Drow had long flowing shoulder-length hair, and wore black leather boots, pants, and a simple tunic that appeared to show every twist and turn of her lithe body.
"Only if you'll be my bedmate as payment for services rendered, my dear!" suggested the Dark Elf viciously.
"In your dreams, loser, in your dreams!" announced Sorrowspinner cutting down her companion with an equal amount of viciousness.
"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE!?!" yelled Kinslayer as he stormed into the company of his fellow Regulators.
"Calm down, Kinslayer," replied Skullsplitter evenly. "We have won the night! I have defeated the Monk, Sorrowspinner has beaten her target, we have two prisoners here that can serve as bait to capture those that got away. Although I do not know where Mankiller and Mind Flayer are, they are probably finishing off the Adventurer. While we have suffered a few casualties, we have won a great victory this night! How did you fair against the High Elf?"
"DON'T ASK!!!" snarled Kinslayer viciously. Looking at the rest of his companions and noting their injuries, the Drow began to calm down a little. Realizing the true extent of their victory the Dark Elf added with a wicked grin, "But you are right, we have done well this night! And in capturing these two, we have sealed the doom of the rest! Now it's time to recall the others and lay our trap for the rest of the 'brave heroes'!"
Immediately, the Dark Elf made a loud cry that mimicked the sound of a whipporwill. When he was finished, the Kinslayer announced boldly and loudly for all of the Swamp to hear, "BRAVE HEROES! WE HAVE TWO OF YOUR FEMALES IN OUR COMPANY! ONE MILE EAST OF HERE IS A GROTTO, WHERE THEY WILL BE SACRIFICED TO LLOTH WHEN THE FOURTH SUN RISES! IF YOU WANT TO SEE THEM ALIVE AGAIN; ALL OF YOU WILL COME TO THE GROTTO AND SURRENDER YOURELVES! IF NOT, THEY WILL DIE!!!"
Sheathing his sword, Kinslayer reached down, picked up Ashleyien, and slung her over his shoulder. Looking back to his soldiers, the Dark Elf said with some satisfaction, "Deathsinger get to your feet! Regulators! Move out!" And with that the small party of villains began to make their way eastward.
