Sunny puttered about her room, utterly bored. Matthew had been gone for quite some time, and while she understood that it was only sensible that she stay in the Inn away from prying eyes, that didn't make her any less bored. The hour-long bath she had taken had improved her spirits, and she even dabbed a fresh application of her perfume behind her ears once she had returned to her room. She bolted to her feet with an excited grin at the knock on the door. At long last, some company! She grabbed Matthew's arm, dragging him into the room. "Did you find the others?" she asked eagerly.
Matthew waved towards the door. "Yes, Lady Fair, they should be directly behind me." Sunny pouted a bit at Matthew's nickname, how was she to *ever* break him of that? If Grandmama heard someone calling her that, she'd never hear the end of it!
At seeing Abigail enter the room, followed by two others, Sunny gave a wide grin. "Abigail! I see you're all right! So what do we do from here?"
She watched absently as one of the strangers lowered a hood, then she caught a glimpse of lavender-colored hair and suddenly her attention was riveted. She watched for a moment as the young man-for male he was-shook out the hair that had been trapped beneath the hood. And as his gaze latched onto her, she saw just how handsome he truly was.
With a squeal of delight Sunny launched herself at the strange young man, literally throwing herself into his arms as she latched her arms around his neck.
"Hi, I'm Sunny!" she introduced herself with a breathless smile.
